Magical Night in New York
When you touring around New York city, you can easily encounter street musicians here and there,
some musicians in the subway stations play really good music, I am not musician or musical guru
but I just heard news that "Santana" kind of famous musician reconciled with his once music band
turned homeless man...This is a very inspiring story for me because I know how dramatic our
lifestyle and how much unfairness exists at the same time..
I assume these people played pretty good music together and practiced hard for future success, and here we come, one person became a star musician and the other person is homeless now..
and "Santana" promises to record some music together with this homeless man who once was
his band-mate and friend.
My painting always looking for something inspirational moment or stories, not the kind of stories
in the book but something intuitive thing, I try to use as diverse subject matter as possible
and I want to explore all different color combinations as well, and when I heard these two musicians
story, I kind of feel like crying...very inspirational and true life drama...
and There must be some connections between these stories and my colorful paintings, especially
when I live near New York city...
