I think we should not limit our possibilities.
we have tremendous possibilities in our mind and spirit.
if you limit yourself in one area, there is no progress or development.
that means you will be always same everyday.
and you are not creating anything, you are just enjoying for the moment.
if we connect this mindset to our painting,
there will be huge difference.
I believe there is still New....
something New could come out of our hand,
even if we still using old traditional method....

There is always darkness surrounding this village, but also there seems to be some fresh air coming through
after rain.. I am thinking this village is aged, but... there is unique colors that make me think..
I remember the colors of old fish village when I visited Gloucester harbor, Maine, years ago.. I was eager to create
the colors of that old fish village, and this colors of downtown Manhattan is certainly comparable one.
* I am looking for a poetry of our life, but not necessarily looking for sad ones.
* I use heavily textured canvas to deliver my message properly.
* I am not looking for something decorative, rather strong message.
* My inspiration is not coming from certain object or instantly, it's accumulated for long time period.
* But I am always looking for true answer.
