This painting might be my last Winter sunset, of course, I was very much impressed by what is happening at this moment, sun was half way

coming out of enormous cloud, and all the colors surrounding this area was really mysterious and beautiful . But, my purpose of painting this scene is not exactly catching this moment only, my intention in here is pretty obvious, I want to use this scene as bridge to a contemporary painting that has element of graphic, abstract, and mind of loneliness.

If you observe this painting, there is spectrum of colors from top to bottom, that's something I cannot give up in exchange with contemporary mind, rather I will use that as a more depth in building up a contemporary realism. My part of spirit comes from Edward Hopper from whom I was deeply impressed mentally, but I know my painting has different characters through out.

My painting is deeply influenced by light and shadow generally, but that does not mean that I should be connected with certain old masters'

when I start painting, I never even thinking about those kind, like I said I may have been influenced by partly by those. and Light and Dark

issue is also only part of my painting, I realize that I have complicated or some conflict in my ideas in creating art work, but most of the time, I know I am looking for something powerful and very positive mental stage anyway....
